Zidane’s son elects to play for France over Spain

Enzo Fernandez, the son of legendary French midfielder Zinedine Zidane, has indicated that he would rather represent France than Spain after accepting a call up to Les Bleus’ Under-19 squad.
ear-old, who is currently with Real Madrid’s A team, has dual nationality after being born in France and moving to Spain as a youngster.
He will take part in a training camp in Clairefontaine from March 3-5.
"The player has decided to wear the blue jersey," said Willy Sagnol, the manager of France's youth teams.
"He can still change in the future but it's his current wish to play for the French national team."
The French national team will now be hoping Enzo goes on to match the accomplishments of his father, who featured 108 times for his country - scoring twice in the 1998 World Cup triumph against Brazil.
