Ray Wilkins has hailed Chelsea's capture of Fiorentinastar Juan Cuadrado, claiming the Colombian was 'outstanding' in last summer's World Cup.
The 26-year-old moved to Stamford Bridge for £23.3m on transfer deadline day, with the move partly funded by Andre Schurrle's switch to Wolfsburg.
And former assistant manager Wilkins believes the ex-Udinese man will be a hit at the south west London club.
"Cuadrado was outstanding in the World Cup for Colombia and he’s been outstanding for Fiorentina," he told the Alan Brazil Sports Breakfast show. "Hopefully he can bring that flair to a Chelsea side which is showing some good form this year."
