Chelsea have loaned recently-arrived teenager Bertrand Traore to Vitesse Arnhem until the end of the season.
The 18-year-old midfielder, an international with Burkina Faso, signed professional terms with the Blues on January 1 but is already on his way out of Stamford Bridge - albeit temporarily.
Dutch side Vitesse, who currently sit second in the Eredivisie, are likely to offer Traore first-team opportunities.
A statement on the Chelsea website read: "Traore signed for Chelsea following a successful trial period with the club during the summer, and now heads to the Netherlands to gain first-team experience.
"Traore will link up with a Vitesse side which is currently second in the Eredivisie, on the same points as leaders Ajax."
Two further Chelsea youngsters on loan at Vitesse - defender Sam Hutchinson and forward Gael Kakuta - have been recalled to London by manager Jose Mourinho.
