Scott Hogan was one of the heroes of Rochdale's shock FA Cup third-round win over Leeds United on Saturday, and now the 21-year-old winger - who scored his 12th goal of the season in the tie - is the subject of an enquiry from Peterborough, according to Sky sources.

Napoli appear to have missed out on the signing of Lyon's France defensive midfielder Maxime Gonalons for the second time. The Serie A club, coached by Rafael Benitez, first tried to snap up the 24-year-old in the summer and now president Jean-Michel Aulas has told Radio RMC Sport that he has snubbed them again.
Last night, Napoli offered me 17 million euros, but Gonalons' future is in Lyon. Coach (Remi) Garde told me to keep him and I decided he won't move until the end of the season. He will remain with us, 100%.

The agent and brother of Brazil superstar Ronaldinho, who could leave Atletico Mineiro on a free transfer this month, has denied reports that the 33-year-old has already agreed to join Besiktas. Roberto Assis is quoted as saying:
I haven't talked with Atletico Mineiro yet. We will probably have a meeting on Wednesday. We are returning to Brazil now and we will start talking this Tuesday. I heard so many stories, so much nonsense that I won't speculate on things that won't make sense later. You'll know what will happen within the next two days.
