Arsenal have been charged with allegedly breaching football agents
regulations over the transfer of Calum Chambers from Southampton.
The Gunners have until 26 June to respond to
the Football Association after requesting more time but insist they
"acted in good faith".
Agent Alan Middleton has also been charged and has until 17 June to respond to the FA.
Defender Chambers, 20, joined Arsenal for about £16m in July 2014.
An England international, he made 36 appearances for Arsenal last season as he helped them finish third in the Premier League.
Chambers is part of the England Under-21 squad for the European Championships in the Czech Republic, starting on Wednesday.
