Arsene Wenger - “I hear it’s easy to work with Suarez”

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is still dreaming of signing in-form Liverpool striker Luis Suarez.
In an interview with French TV show Telefoot, Wenger explained how Suarez turns from an “angel” off the pitch to a “demon” on it — and made no attempt to hide his continuing admiration for the Uruguay international.
The Gunners made a series of bids for Suarez in the summer, culminating in a bid of 40 million and one pounds which they thought would trigger a release clause in the player’s contract. But when Liverpool fought against that, and won, Wenger and the Arsenal hierarchy were heavily criticised for their actions.

Wenger said: “I think that every defender in England hates playing against him. He has a strong, provocative personality. From the information I gathered on him it appears that on a day-to-day level he is really easy to work with.
“Also that he’s respectful, he loves training, he’s an angel. He turns into a demon when he’s on the pitch. We all dream about having players like that.”
Despite missing the first five games of the Premier League season through suspension for his bite on Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic, Suarez is blazing a trail at the top of the Premier League goalscoring charts with 17 goals in just 11 appearances. His nearest challenger for the golden boot is Sergio Aguero, who is three goals back on 14 for the campaign.
Suarez was given the captain’s armband in the absence of the injured Steven Gerrard for the 5-0 thrashing of Spurs at White Hart Lane, and so far this season has picked up just one yellow card. Liverpool are likely to try to tie him to a new deal early next year, despite his demands for a move in the summer.
