Manchester United want a swap deal with Real Madrid involving Spanish pair David De Gea and Sergio Ramos. Madrid want goalkeeper De Gea, 24, plus £20m for the 29-year-old defender. United will make De Gea see out the remaining 12 months of his contract if Real refuse to meet their demands. (Daily Star)

Arsenal's England Under-21 defender Calum Chambers has issued a call for fans to get behind the team in the build-up to Wednesday's group game with Italy. Gareth Southgate's Under-21s will reach the semi-finals of the European Under-21 Championship if they win, and Chambers tweets:  "Preparation done for last group game. Need all your support."
"I'll miss you bro! Thanks for everything. Honestly you are one of the best guys and players I have ever played with," tweets  Bayern Munich's former Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina, 32, to Bayern defender David Alaba before Reina's move to Napoli.
