Robin van Persie has undergone a medical in London as he closes in on a switch to Fenerbahce.
The Turkish side confirmed on Thursday afternoon that they were in talks with Manchester United over signing the Dutchman.
And talkSPORT understands that a deal is almost complete, with Van Persie having medical tests on Thursday morning after United accepted an offer from the Super Lig side.
A few minor details are still to sorted, but the 31-year-old has agreed a four-year contract and Fenerbahce expect to wrap up the deal and formally announce his signature over the weekend.
Van Persie had initially been unsure about moving to Turkey but changed his mind after holding talks with the club and visiting Istanbul with his family.
