Chelsea have struck a deal with Monaco for the loan signing of Radamel Falcao, according to reports in France.
The striker endured a miserable campaign at Old Trafford last season, finding the net just four times in all competitions.
After that spell, Manchester United decided not to sign the Colombian permanently and it was thought he would return to France.
However, according to L'Equipe, Chelsea have agreed terms with Monaco and will take Falcao on loan for the season.
The one-year deal will set the Blues back around £7m, with it also containing a buyout clause of over £35m.
Both parties have reportedly agreed on all terms of the deal and the transfer is likely to be announced before the end of the week.
