James: Neymar is at an incredible level
The Real Madrid player was full of praise for his Barcelona counterpart and believes his side have a good chance of beating Brazil in their Copa America clash
Real Madrid star James Rodriguez has praised his Barcelona and Brazil counterpart Neymar, stating that the 23-year-old is at an "incredible level".
The Brazil captain inspired his side to victory in their Copa America opener on Sunday, scoring an early equaliser and then setting up the injury time winner for Douglas Costa.
And the Colombia attacker is looking forward to coming up against him in their next game, insisting that his side will not be looking for revenge for the 2014 World Cup quarter-final defeat to the Selecao.
"Don't mistake this game for a rematch," he said. "Neymar is at an incredible level, but they must play well to beat Colombia.
"In football you can win or lose. We always have to be together, with the same spirit we've always had."
Colombia lost their first Copa match 1-0 to Venezuela, but Rodriguez expects a better performance against Dunga's men.
"There are always bad games and bad afternoons. We must be united and peaceful. We must think about the next game and win"
"It will not be easy to beat them, but I expect a more open game, they can play more in attack and leave more spaces at the back. That could be good for us."
The 23-year-old appeared to pick up a shoulder injury against Venezuela, but he says he has no problem with it now.
"It's nothing serious. I'm physically fine. I had a good season in Spain and I always come to help the national team to win.
"I hope everyone supports us. Not only when we win, but even when we lose. That support is that we need at the moment."
