After a £16million summer move from AC Milan the Italy international has struggled to find his feet on Merseyside.
The much-maligned striker had only managed two strikes for the Reds prior to their clash with Tottenham Hotspur but he came up with the goods right when his club needed him.
Seven minutes from time he tucked home Adam Lallana’s centre sending the Anfield crowd wild and one fan might have a few regrets after he claimed he'd buy an Everton shirt if Balotelli hit the winner.
