Nigel Pearson remains Leicester City boss despite speculations of sack

Leicester City have NOT sacked manager Nigel Pearson, the club have confirmed

Leicester City have NOT sacked manager Nigel Pearson, the club have confirmed.
A 1-0 defeat to Crystal Palace on Saturday had left the Foxes bottom of the Premier League table, four points from safety, while an incident with Eagles midfielder James McArthur saw Pearson come under scrutiny.
But, despite strong speculation from several media organisations, Leicester have insisted he still remains in charge.
A statement on the club’s official website said: “Leicester City Football Club would like to clarify its position relative to its manager, Nigel Pearson.
“Contrary to media speculation on Sunday evening, Nigel remains the Club’s First Team Manager. Reports to the contrary are inaccurate and without foundation.
“Nigel, his staff and the first team squad are entirely focused on Tuesday night’s trip to Arsenal and our continued efforts to secure our position in the Barclays Premier League.”
