Former Newcastle, Manchester United and England striker Andy Cole said on Kicca  that Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford, 21, needs to leave Stamford Bridge to fulfil his potential.
Manchester City's France full-back Bacary Sagna, 32, hailed his country's 1-0 victory over England in the Women's World Cup in Canada. He tweeted:   "Bravo premier match, premiere victoire de @equipedefrance!" Which means: "Congratulations first game, first win for team France!"

England striker Charlie Austin leaving QPR is the most likely transfer of the summer window, according to a group of Swiss academics who have created a computer programme to analyse the variables. It says QPR should charge between £7.5m and £9m for their leading scorer, 25. (City AM)
