Super agent Jorge Mendes has offered Manchester United goalkeeper David de Gea to Real Madrid.
The Daily Star says the Portuguese deal broker - one of the most powerful figures in world football - has put De Gea's name to Bernabeu chiefs ahead of a possible summer switch.
Real are huge fans of De Gea and are willing to lodge a £50m bid - a world-record for a goalkeeper - to get him.
Mendes has close ties with senior Real figures and a swoop for De Gea has been spoken about regularly, according to sources in Spain.
Mendes' big-name clients include De Gea, Angel Di Maria, Cristiano Ronaldo and, maybe crucially, Radamel Falcao.
Relations between Manchester United and Mendes have been strong for years - until now.
