Real Madrid directors intend to speak with Cristiano Ronaldo over his dismissal during victory over Cordoba.
The red card wasn't the concern for powerbrokers, rather the gestures of Ronaldo to the Cordoba crowd and his 'polishing' of the Club World Cupbadge on the shirt.
Marca says the board recognises Ronaldo is unsettled off the pitch after his split with long time girlfriend Irina Shayk.
"He isn't a machine," said one board member.
However, Ronaldo will be told there is no justification for the 'polishing' and will be reminded of his responsibilities to the club's image
