Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo has been given a two-match ban after his sending-off for kicking out at Cordoba defender Edimar on Saturday.
The 29 year old will miss the next two La Liga games against Real Sociedad and Sevilla but will be available for the derby against Atletico Madrid.
The World Player of the Year apologised after the game, which Real won 2-1.
